Bank authorisation
We check account coverage and the available data through Akahu during scoping. Authorisation uses the provider’s supported process. Do not send bank passwords, access tokens or authentication codes in an enquiry email.
DATA & SECURITY
Bank data and customer records need a carefully scoped workflow. Each project defines the authorised access, data handling and approval rules before implementation.
We check account coverage and the available data through Akahu during scoping. Authorisation uses the provider’s supported process. Do not send bank passwords, access tokens or authentication codes in an enquiry email.
The project identifies the account owner, source systems, required permissions and authorised users. Read access and permission to update business records are scoped separately.
Deployment location, data storage, retention periods, access to logs and deletion arrangements depend on the implementation. These details are agreed for your project rather than assumed from a bank connection.
Matching thresholds, allocation rules and the review boundary are defined before rollout. An ambiguous receipt is flagged for review before a record is treated as settled.
The design addresses duplicate records, retries, failed deliveries and reconciliation checks. Alerting, recovery steps and responsibility for reviewing exceptions are included in the agreed operating process.
We identify the provider and destination-system controls used to revoke or change access. The handover explains how to pause processing and how access changes affect reports and automated updates.
BEFORE SHARING PROJECT DATA
For the first email, tell us your system names, payment workflow and intended outcome. If sample records are needed later, agree the transfer method and use anonymised examples where possible. Project-specific data handling is recorded in the scope and contract.
START WITH YOUR REQUIREMENTS
Tell us what needs to connect. We clarify the requirements, provide a quote including GST, and start after you sign the contract. Full payment follows delivery.
